Skills for safe Reconstruction Project (SSRP) Chanamati Gharti, Beneficiary - Golanjor, Sindhuli
Swisscontact implemented the Skills for Safe Reconstruction Project (SSRP) in Sindhuli district with a holistic approach, targeting both the demand and supply side of reconstruction in the district. SSRP provided skills to new masons and elevated the qualifications of existing construction workers through trainings; and empowered house owners by imparting knowledge on safe construction process along with improving their access to skilled workers and government technical support. The project has benefitted 26,518 house owners and 1,780 construction workers in Sindhuli.
