What Real Confidence Looks Like In Network Marketing MLM Confidence
Posture and confidence are very important in sales. But there is a fine line between having too much confidence and not having enough. If you don't have enough, you won't be able to effectively sell your product, service or opportunity. But if you have too much and you'll come off as arrogant. Not only will you not be able sell but people won't like you.

Here is what Real Confidence Looks like in the network marketing profession.

Confidence Isn't Arrogance
Many network marketers think that everyone will love their product, service and/or business because they believe the hype.

They will say things like:
"We have the best comp plan."
"We are ground floor."
"Our product is scientifically proven and invented by a Nobel Prize winning scientist."

If there prospect doesn't agree, then they take it personally. They try to argue with the prospect and convince them that they are right. When that doesn't work (it rarely does), they will turn on the prospect. They will call the prospect stupid or say that they lack vision.

The hype doesn't come across as confident, it comes across like arrogance and it is a turnoff. Arrogance is a great way of losing sales and sign ups.

Real Confidence
Real confidence is loving your product, service and business but also realizing that it isn't a fit for everyone. It's also realizing that you don't want everyone to be your customer or to join your team. When you realize that your prospect isn't a good fit and that you don't want them as a customer or to join your team, you are ok with letting them go. Often times this attitude is pleasant to others and even if they don't want to buy, they want your business to thrive and succeed. They may give you a referral or even buy something small from you.

Confidence isn't: I know they will like it.

Confidence is: I'm ok if they don't like it
