Deer camp, The last 2 days

In this video my brother and I are still trying to nail down where the deer are in this new to us hunting area. The snow has been helpful, but it froze and now makes so much noise that all the animals know we are coming from miles away. Very frustrating. I finally did see a couple doe during the day in the woods, Finally! So we are honing in on a few areas. I fear that this year is just a learning season and if by chance we do get one in this area it will simply be by chance and not experience. Well that is deer hunting. You have to put your time in. To me that is the funnest part. Learning the lay of the land and the animals in it. The rain, then cold, then rain and snow crazy weather surely doesn't help much.
