RX100 VII (and VI) vs a6400. YOU JUDGE. picture comparison for casual shooters

RX100 VII (and VI) vs a6400. YOU JUDGE. picture comparison for casual shooters LEFT: RX100m6, RIGHT: a6400.
Added conclusions:
- The images at the center were always roughly the same, but the RX100m6 was sometimes better at the borders, particularly at 50 mm, and very markedly at 70 mm.
- The Zeiss 16-70 being much better than the kit lens 16-50, it is clear that RX100m7 or 6 is better than any a6000 series with that kit lens, in normal conditions.
- Often object edges look a bit soft with a6400/Zeiss. It may be due to chromatic aberration.
- About colors: the sony color science may have changed between RX100m6 and a6400. Also the pictures of RX100 were taken about 20-30 min after the others, thus, the sun orientation change may be responsible for the color difference.
- Price: interestingly, an RX100m7 is about the same price as an A6400 with double kit lenses or with a 18-135 lens. Even though the RX100m7 seems expensive, it reflexes well its capabilities with respect of those of the a6400 with kit lenses.
- Final remark: of course, the a6400 remains the best camera if coupled with expensive lenses such the newly released 16-55 or 70-350, or other good prime lenses.

a6400 vs RX100 VII (and VI); picture comparison for casual photography. a6400 with Zeiss 16-70 and kit lenses 16-50 and 55-210.
