Foot Complications in Diabetes - Dr. Sanjay Sharma | Doctors' Circle Foot are one of the major complications we see in diabetes. We have three kinds of foot complications in Indians. One is diabetic peripheral neuropathy, second one is peripheral vascular infections and third is infections. Peripheral neuropathy means where person loses sensation in foot or has aggravated sensation in the foot. You must be having or the diabetic patient must be having tingling sensation, pain in the foot, maybe something like ants walking over the foot. So various of these weird unusual sensations that they may feel in the foot is called as diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The other side what we call as negative sensations, is they don’t feel any sensation at all.
