Manchester United are preparing a stunning £200,000-a-week contract offer for Erling Haaland ahead of his proposed transfer to Old Trafford. Haaland has emerged as one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s key targets ahead of the January transfer window, with United keen to secure a £76million deal for the teenage striker.
The 19-year-old is enjoying a sensational campaign for Red Bull Salzburg, scoring 24 goals in 22 appearances for the Austrian side.
A number of clubs are rivalling United over a January move but the Premier League giants hope a stunning contract worth £200,000-a-week will help bring the Norwegian to Old Trafford.
According to The Sun, Manchester United will add a number of incentives into the contract, such as goals targets and extra money if he helps the club return to the Champions League.
If Manchester United clinch a deal for Haaland, it is expected that the 19-year-old will be loaned straight back to Red Bull for the remainder of the 2019-20 season.
It is not easy for Manchester United because Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, and there are a few other clubs in race to sign Erling Haaland.
Manchester United, who are currently eighth in the Premier League, face Newcastle United on Boxing Day.
