Elizabeth Warren refuses to shake hands with Bernie Sanders after 'woman President' debate row

Elizabeth Warren refused to shake Democratic rival Bernie Sanders' hand after the latest debate in Iowa.

The pair had clashed over Warren's claim that Sanders had told her a woman could not be US President. Sanders denies he ever made the claim.

In total, six Democrats squared off in Iowa.

It's the final chance for candidates to make their case to a national audience before the party's presidential nominating process kicks off properly on February 3.

Three more debates are scheduled later in February.
