Today's video is about Earnest Money Deposits, also known as Good Faith Deposits. This kind of deposit is used when the home buyer makes an offer to the home seller. This deposit acts as a "promise" to the seller. The seller, in return, will take their property off of the market. The homebuyer's Good Faith Deposit will be put into an Escrow Account and will be used toward the homebuyer's down payment!๐
