115 recipients of Queen’s Medal, acknowledged for their contribution in developing western province

The people of Kiunga, Tabubil, and Daru have hosted Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae in his capacity as the Queen’s representative from England’s Buckingham Palace.

Sir Bob’s official visit to Kiunga was extended to a small village in the Middle Fly electorate, known as Wangawanga.

The Grand Chief was in Western to present the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal to at least 100 people who had contributed to the development of the province through their various careers.
