I've watched a lot of tv, and it's caused me to notice patterns in the way that shows end up being planned out — particularly with the way the protagonist's love interest is handled. In this video I explain six of these structures using Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Friends, Chuck, Parks and Recreation, Psych, the Big Bang Theory, the Office, and more.
