'I'd rather see smaller class sizes than enhanced compensation,' says Ontario education minister Ontario Minister of Education Stephen Lecce says Friday's strikes were concerning and adds the government still wants to reach a deal with the unions. 'We want to get a deal. Obviously this cannot go on forever, and I think the people of this province have been clear that this is having real impacts on their lives. We do not lose sight of that,' he said.
